102- Maunch book for Morwenna O’Hurlihie

2018-09-15, I heard that she love the Luttrell Psalter. So I recreated part of it. It is the original size, with the 8 leather stripe to bind the board. For the cover I put the purple leather (sued) on the press with a maunch that I cut to get it print in the leather. There is 3 pages of texts with illumination plus one page just with illumination because that book was so inspiring. Only the short time stop me from doing more blank illuminations.

J’ai appris qu’elle aimait vraiment le ‘Luttrell Psalter’. Donc j’ai recréer une partie. La grandeur est selon l’original, avec le 8 lanière de cuir pour la reliure. Pour la couverture j’ai utiliser un suède mauve que j’ai mis sous presse avec une manche que j’avais découper en carton pour l’imprimer. Il y a 3 pages de textes avec enluminure plus une autre page avec seulement enluminure.
